Maybe you shouldn't play on rookie?

Re: Madden today!
lol mid way through i had to make sure i wasn't on rookie because in my dynasty the score is usually with in 20 points... it said i was still on my custom difficulty but it was extremely easy... so i dont know.

You should play a game on all-madden to just see how the difficulty is.

Re: Madden today!
So far i loving the feel of it, but online play has been the same old sad story. Thankfully I have this league and another to get some good games.
I'm 1-3 thus far. First game I got nano'd so bad I couldn't even hit my 3rd step. 2nd game was legit and I had to make a drive with less than 2 minutes in the 4th to win. 3rd game I got to play the Redskins who had Deangelo Hall running the wildcat 95% of the time. He was not too hard to contain, until he decided to break a Patrick Willis + Michael Lewis tackle for a 50+ yard touchdown...twice. The last game I just played was against the Bears. It was a great game that was really close in the 3rd. I was up 14-10 and then he decided to pull out a nano against me. I couldn't control it at all, haven't played enough yet to figure out some of the counters, and went 3-n-Out a few times in a row and Forte went wild on me.
Besides those grim tales, I'm loving the feel of the offense. If you know football, this is the year you can really pick a part someones coverages without needing to rely on money plays. I love that Gore is finally good in Madden, even though he coughs up the ball constantly. Defense is definitely difficult. The Oline is way too good at times. They shouldn't be able to perform a perfect pocket with 5 men rushing for 10 seconds consistently. Though as a person who loves pass rushing, I like how this year you actually feel as if you're fighting for the sack. The D does get some help though with how ridiculous bump-n-run can be.
I was playing around in practice with the Patriots and I noticed on deep balls to Moss, Brady is underthrowing him pretty much every time. I don't know if this is different online after different plays are being ran and the CPU is adjusting because I use the 49ers online. Anyways, I was just curious if anyone who has been using a big arm QB like Brady tossing to a fast WR like Moss is noticing anything like this. Where even a slower CB like Nate Clements runs stride for stride right behind Moss and then when the ball gets there, Moss goes into an animation where he has to reach back because the ball is a little underthrown and Clements is able to get a hand on the ball. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Re: Madden today!
I just played a game last night where my WRs dropped literally 20 balls. I was the Saints playing the Eagles and every time my WRs got hit after catching the ball they dropped it. Someone as sure handed as Marques Colston still had 6 drops. Also, I hate how they don't use their size still, I threw a couple jump balls up to him against Asante Samuel who is like 5'9 and he would never use his size.
The thing that really bothers me this game is the screens. The running backs are so retarded and run past their blockers everytime. Screens were a huge part of my game when I used to play from the PS2 and they are nearly unusable in this game.
And yeah Frank Gore is a balla in this game, I played Maine and he literally busted out of a TD from like 5 tacklers. That is another thing I hate, it is fine that RBs occasionally break one loose like that, but the rest of the defenders just give up on the play. No one pursues the gang tackle they just stand around like a bunch of drones. Also, Patrick Willis is just unfair, hes faster than LT.

That just gave me a glimmer of hope for next week. Hopefully Revis can cover him this time.
